How it Works
| An overview of how all the contests advance. MONTHLY ENTRIES All Registration Forms must be electronically or manually signed by the Parent or Legal Guardian and/or Grandparents. Please state relationship to child. All Registration Forms must be submitted with photo along with payment in full. Remember, you may want to enter your child more than once. Each quarter is a new contest with new participants and new judges. This enables you to have a greater chance of placing or winning the main contest or any other contest you may have chosen. THE CONTESTS (Restricted to winners or any participant who received an Invitation or Judge Recommendation) Shining Stars Contest First Round of Competition Consists of all applicants received during the current contest period. All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation. Judging will take place the last week of the month where 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place winners will be chosen. Also, in this time the Category Judging will take place where a 1st place winner will be chosen in each of the 9 categories. All of these winners will be awarded awards such as Plaques, Certificates of Award, Ribbons, Gift Certificates, Coupons, etc. and will be displayed on our website under Shining Stars. Some of these will receive an exclusive invitation or a judge recommendation to participate in the Rising Stars Contest. Awards All participants receive a Certificate of Participation 1st place - will receive an award certificate, national recognition, FREE invitation for participation into the Rising Star Contest, various redeemable certificates or coupons from sponsors, winning photo to be on our website, talent agencies notified, winning photo in future advertisement. 2nd place - will receive an award certificate, national recognition, FREE invitation for participation into the Rising Star Contest, various redeemable certificates or coupons from sponsors, winning photo to be on our website, talent agencies notified, winning photo in future advertisement. 3rd place - will receive an award certificate, national recognition, FREE invitation for participation into the Rising Star Contest, winning photo to be on our website, talent agencies notified, winning photo considered for future advertisements and/or promotions. *Non-placed winners may receive an Invitation or Judge Recommendation for Rising Star Contest. Only placed winners by a Judge Recommendation participants photos are allowed to be entered. *All participants will receive Certificate of Participation suitable for framing. Don't forget to enter the "Category Judging Contest" for a cost of $8.95. This fee must be paid at the time of initial registration. By entering the category judging your child receives more chances of winning which in turn means more chances of advancement. The categories are listed below: Best Dressed Prettiest Eyes Best Sportswear Best Costume Most Personality Prettiest Hair Most Photogenic Prettiest Smile Most Beautiful YOU MUST ENTER TO WIN!!! Rising Star Contest (Optional) Second Round of Competition By invitation or Judge Recommendation Only All contestants that placed in the Shining Star Contest will receive a FREE Invitation or Judge Recommendation which allows your child's photo to participate in the Rising Star Contest and sets the stage for "The Cutest Baby in America" or "The Prettiest Child in America" contest. Only the Judge Recommendation entries have a fee of $28.95 and the selected few will be given the opportunity. No other fees required. One(1) winner will be chosen as the Rising Star. This winner will be posted on our website under the Gallery of Stars as the New Rising Star for that quarter. A great part about being "The Rising Star Winner" is that you will automatically be entered into the official annual photo pageant. "The Cutest Baby in America" or "The Prettiest Child in America" contest is made of the 4 Rising Stars that won for each of the previous 4 Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter competitions. Again, all winners addresses and telephone numbers are kept absolutely in strict confidentiality. *Only the following will be qualified to advance to the Rising Star Contest: 1. Winners of 1st thru 3rd place in the Shining Star Contest will automatically be entered - FREE! 2. Winners in the Category Judging Contest will also automatically be entered - FREE! 3. By Invitation or Judge Recommendation Only! If you enter The Rising Star Contest by Invitation there is no charge. If you enter the Rising Star Contest by Judge Recommendation the cost of $28.95 to be paid at the time of entry. We are not responsible for any late entries. The deadline for entry will be on the Invitation/Judge Recommendation. Only those selected will be able to enter so if you receive a Judge Recommendation or Invitation we can not stress how important it is for us to receive these back as soon as possible. Gallery of Stars Contest (free) There will be only one winner selected per month. The winner is selected from the Rising Star Contest. No other applicants will be judged for this category. All Gallery of Stars winners (total of 12-representing the 12 months in the year) will be entered into the main contest and one will be chosen "The Cutest Baby in America" or "The Prettiest Child in America". The Cutest Baby in America Contest The Prettiest Child in America Contest One winner will be chosen from the Gallery of Stars and this winner will be awarded in accordance with his or her age group. "The Cutest Baby in America" or "The Prettiest Child in America". The instant fame and publicity is priceless. There is no other photo contest in America of the caliber. There is no way any one child can achieve so much fame and publicity at any price!! Ladies and Gentlemen, "this is how a Star is Born"! |
